Construction is officially underway on a new Costco location in West St. Paul. On Wednesday, construction crews could be seen at the site of the future store on Meadowlands Drive. According to a Facebook post from the RM of West St. Paul, the Costco will feature a nearly 162,000-square-foot warehouse on a 20.94-acre site. Plans for the store include an eight-lane gas bar, tire centre, food court, seasonal outdoor garden centre, and over 1,000 parking stalls. The post adds that the new Costco will also bring employment opportunities and improved access to shopping within the municipality. The West St. Paul Costco is expected to open in August 2027.
