Investigators have established a dedicated tip line and are asking members of the public to come forward with information as a fraud investigation involving the London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC) continues. The London Police Service launched the investigation in October 2024 after the hospital network raised concerns about alleged fraudulent financial activity. Due to the complexity of the case and the specialized resources required, police said the probe is now being conducted jointly with investigators from the OPP’s Serious Fraud Office. Authorities are encouraging anyone with information that could assist investigators to contact the tipline, saying even seemingly minor details may prove important. “Information from the public can be critical in complex fraud investigations,” Det. Supt. Jennifer Spurrell of the OPP’s Serious Fraud Office said in a statement. “We encourage anyone who may have information to come forward, no matter how minor it may seem. Even small details can play an important role in advancing the investigation.” Investigators have not released further details about the allegations.
