To honour those who laid it all on the line, the town of Penetanguishene has created a physical reminder that everyone can experience. At the intersection of Main Street and Poyntz Street, residents can find and walk along the town’s Remembrance Day themed crosswalk. “The project reflects our community’s enduring commitment to remembering those who have served,” the town said in a post on social media. The crosswalk connects the town’s Legion, Branch 68, located at 2 Poyntz Street, to its Cenotaph located at Memorial Park.
