Highway 400 collision causes double lane closure

A single-vehicle collision on Highway 400 at Essa Road in Barrie has caused two lanes to close, according to Ontario Provincial Police (OPP).

Police told CTV News they received a call at around 4 p.m. on Wednesday. They say the only driver in the vehicle was transported to the hospital for precautionary measures.

OPP say there have been no reported injuries.

Police remain on scene, as just one lane of traffic is getting through.
