A man has been charged with manslaughter in connection with the death of a man in Upper Musquodoboit, N.S., last Wednesday. Police, fire and ambulance crews responded to a report of a man in medical distress in the 8000 block of Highway 224 around 1:20 p.m., according to an RCMP news release. A 41-year-old man was found at the scene in cardiac arrest with physical injuries. He was taken to hospital where he later died. Police say the man had been involved in a physical altercation earlier that day. A 30-year-old man was arrested on Saturday in connection with the victim’s death. Easton Marshall Paul of Sipekne’katik has been charged with manslaughter and remains in custody. He is set to appear in Dartmouth provincial court on Monday.
