Highway 11 shut down for fourth time this week

It’s been a rough week for Highway 11 with this being the fourth time the major highway has closed due to weather-related collisions.

Highway 11 northbound lanes at Highway 117 in Bracebridge shut down after a tractor trailer hit a guard rail early Friday morning, according to OPP. The road reopened at around 9:05 a.m.

Police are advising drivers to avoid the area and plan alternate routes.
