Bracebridge wants your input on transit

Residents of Bracebridge are being invited to share their thoughts on the future of local transit, through an online public survey offered by the town.

Ten years ago, the town launched its 22 kilometre single route transit system that cut through its downtown core.

Now Bracebridge calling about those who live in, work and travel around the community for advice on what improvements can be made.

Bracebridge has a population of more than 17,000 residents but the town says its reached a ridership of 29,000.

An online survey available on the town’s website, aims to identify current barriers riders may face when using transit, service priorities and future enhancements residents would be interested in.

The deadline for the survey is June 12.
