Nova Scotia hockey star Brad Marchand brought the Stanley Cup to his home province last week.

Nova Scotia hockey star Brad Marchand brought the Stanley Cup to his home province Wednesday.

The Florida Panthers won their second straight championship in June and, as has been tradition since 1995, the team and staff each get a turn to take the trophy to their hometown.

Marchand celebrated with fellow Nova Scotia hockey stars Sidney Crosby and Nathan MacKinnon, who were pictured sporting hats with BM63 emblazoned on them.

Marchand was also seen in a post by the “Hockey Hall of Fame’s Keeper of the Cup” Philip Pritchard in what can be described as a truly Canadian moment – riding in the back of a pickup truck with the Stanley Cup at a Tim Hortons drive-thru in Middle Sackville, N.S.
