Two arrested after drugs, weapons seized from Saint John residence

Two people have been arrested in connection with a drug trafficking investigation in Saint John, N.B.

The Saint John Police Street Crime Integrated Enforcement Unit (IEU) arrested two people on Friday following a two-month long investigation.

Following the arrests, a residence in Saint John was searched, where officers seized:

- a 410 shotgun with sawed off barrel

- ammunition

- multiple edged weapons

- three replica firearms

- 81.44 grams of Fentanyl, with a street value of $16,288

- .56 grams of Crystal Meth, with a street value of $50

- 112 Hydromorphone Contin 4 MG, with a street value of $1,120

- scales

- Canadian currency

- drug paraphernalia

The two accused were remanded into custody and were scheduled to appear in court Monday for a bail hearing.
