Three in hospital after crash at Fredericton motorcycle toy ride

Four people were injured after a crash involving four motorcycles in Fredericton.

Fredericton police say the collision happened on Route 105 between the Two Nations Crossing on-ramp and Brookside Drive at around 11:30 a.m.

Three people were taken to hospital with serious injuries and a fourth was treated at the scene for minor injuries. Three people remain in hospital, but their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

The highway was shut down for more than three hours.

Police say the motorcyclists were among roughly 100 taking part in the Fredericton Motorcycle Club's annual Toy Ride.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
