The Winnipeg Police Service has closed a section of the Perimeter Highway on Wednesday morning as officers respond to a serious crash. According to police, officers were called to the three-vehicle collision at the South Perimeter and Lagimodiere Boulevard just before 9 a.m. Three people have been taken to the hospital in stable condition. In a social media post from around 10 a.m., police said westbound Perimeter lanes are closed to traffic, and drivers are asked to use alternate routes. The closure is expected to last about three hours. Officers remain on scene and are investigating the incident.
