Section of St. Anne’s Road to close this weekend

A section of a major south Winnipeg street is scheduled to close this weekend to allow for repaving of the road.

Northbound St. Anne’s Road between Fermor Avenue and St. Mary’s Road will be blocked off from 6 p.m. on Friday until 6 p.m. on Sunday.

During this closure, St. Anne’s Road will be closed after the Fermor intersection to allow eastbound yields and westbound turns onto Fermor. According to the City of Winnipeg, access to Superstore will continue from St. Anne’s Road and Kingswood Avenue and sidewalks will stay open with pedestrian crossings at Kingswood, Varennes and Imperial Avenues and St. Mary’s Road.
