Recycling, garbage pick-up schedule to change for some residents next week: city

The city is reminding residents that recycling, garbage, and yard waste collection schedules will be changing for some, starting on Monday, Oct. 2.

The city said all residents affected should have received a notice in the mail advising them of their new collection day. This information is also available on the city’s website.

The changes are part of a new seven-year collection contract that is shared between two different contractors.
