RCMP are investigating a string of suspected arsons in a Manitoba community that have destroyed several buildings. Mounties in Gypsumville are investigating nine fires that are believed to be arson in Pinaymootang First Nation. The fires occurred between May 15 and July 8 in the community located about 220 kilometres northwest of Winnipeg. The majority of the fires were set in abandoned homes and buildings, RCMP said, adding it is not known if the fires are related. They said a suspect has not been identified, but a four-wheeler has been seen in the area of several of the fires.
