Partial human remains found in North End back alley: Winnipeg police

Winnipeg police are investigating after partial human remains were found in a back lane in the North End.

The Winnipeg Police Service is investigating the discovery of partial human remains in the North End.

Police said the remains were found in a back lane in the 600 block of Selkirk Avenue on Sunday at 1:30 p.m.

Officers said an autopsy confirmed the remains to be human. The homicide unit is now investigating the incident as a suspicious death.

The identity of the deceased is not yet known.
