Lanes to be temporarily reduced on section of Perimeter starting tonight

A section of the Perimeter Highway will see its lanes temporarily reduced beginning on Wednesday evening.

According to the Manitoba government, a detour will be in place at the rail tracks north of the PTH 101 and Dugald Road intersection on the Perimeter from Wednesday at 6 p.m. to Sunday at 6 p.m.

The detour, which is due to rail crossing repairs, will involve crossovers between north and southbound lanes. One lane of traffic in each direction will be accommodated on PTH 101.

Drivers should expect delays and slow down when they see construction signs and flaggers on the road.
