The Winnipeg Jets have made a minor deal for a defenceman. The Jets announced Monday forward David Gustafsson has been traded to the Pittsburgh Penguins for Jack St. Ivany. St. Ivany played 20 games for the penguins last season and tallied seven assists. He has spent parts of three seasons in the NHL, all with Pittsburgh, and has recorded nine assists during that time. He has also played in 162 games in the AHL where he has recorded 45 points, which includes six goals. Meanwhile, Gustafson played parts of six seasons with Winnipeg, getting into 149 games, scoring six goals and 20 points.
