Fog bringing near zero visibility to parts of Manitoba, including Winnipeg

Thursday morning commuters are being warned about a dense fog causing poor visibility in parts of Manitoba, including Winnipeg.

Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) has issued a yellow advisory – fog for several Manitoba communities, saying “near zero visibility” is expected.

The weather agency notes the fog is forecasted to dissipate later on Thursday.

ECCC warns that travel may be dangerous as visibility will likely be reduced. Drivers are urged to adjust their travel plans if needed.
