Fish cakes recalled due to undeclared egg

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is recalling a brand of pre-fried fish cakes.

Seoul Trading Corp.'s ChoripDong brand Frozen Pre-Fried Fish Cakesare being recalled because it may contain egg not declared on the label.

People with egg allergies shouldn’t consume the products; it could cause a life-threatening reaction.

The products are sold in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia.

Affected products contain the product code 2017.01.20 and UPC code 7 61898 60855 5.

People are asked to throw out or return the products.

No adverse reactions have been reported.
