A nine-year-old girl has died following a crash involving a utility terrain vehicle (UTV) on Monday. RCMP in Dauphin, along with the Dauphin Fire Department and paramedics, responded to a reported rollover outside a home in the RM of Dauphin at 5:15 p.m. Mounties say a 40-year-old man was driving a side-by-side UTV with his nine-year-old daughter as a passenger, when the vehicle rolled after making a turn while driving on the property towards the home. The girl suffered significant injuries from the rollover. Emergency crews performed lifesaving measures, but the girl died from her injuries at the scene. The girl’s father was taken to hospital in Winnipeg with non-life-threatening injuries. The investigation into the crash continues.
