American retailer Target announces opening dates for Manitoba stores

Target has confirmed it will open three stores in Winnipeg and one in Brandon.

The American retailer is set to transform some Zellers stores into Target facilities.

In Winnipeg, Kildonan Place Shopping Centre and Southdale Centre are now set to see Target stores open in spring 2013, the company announced Thursday.

In Brandon, Target will also open a store at the Shoppers Mall in spring 2013.

At the end of 2013, a Target location at Grant Park in Winnipeg will also open.
