A Windsor woman has walked away with $1 million after winning the Gold Ball draw with a Lotto 6/49 ticket using numbers from her late mother. 34-year-old Zina Hamid Naman said before this win, the most she ever won was $65. “I’m so surprised,” she said. “My mom gave me some numbers to play before she passed away. I’ve been playing the numbers ever since. I’m too happy.” Naman says she plans to pay some bills, invest, and share her winnings with her siblings. The winning ticket was bought at the Canadian Tire Gas Bar on Talbot Street, Leamington.
