A 36-year-old Windsor man is facing multiple charges following an investigation into the alleged sexual exploitation of two teenage girls, according to police. The Windsor Police Service’s Human Trafficking Unit launched its investigation on March 13 after receiving a report that a 16-year-old girl had allegedly been coerced into providing sexual services to an adult man. Police said their investigation found that on Feb. 28, the suspect picked up two 16-year-old girls in his vehicle, gave them with alcohol and drove them to a hotel in south Windsor. Investigators allege the man took nude photographs of the girls before engaging in sexual acts with them and later gave each of them money. Police also allege that about a week later, the suspect again picked up the two teenagers and took them to a hotel room, where he engaged in sexual acts with one of the girls before giving both youths money. Officers arrested the suspect on July 28 in the 1000 block of Parkview Avenue, police said. Steven Allan Marles, 36, has been charged with three counts of obtaining sexual services for consideration from a person under the age of 18 and one count of possession of child sexual abuse material.
