Windsor encouraging residents to help clean up the streets

The City of Windsor wants residents to help keep the streets clean through its Spring Clean Sweep Program and the Adopt-A-Street Program.

The Spring Rose City Clean Sweep Program runs annually and asks residents to clean up their yards, streets, neighbourhoods, and parks.

Windsor volunteers have gathered to help pick up garbage yearly since 1989.

The Adopt-A-Street Program asks the community to maintain the streets by adopting a section of a road and clean up the litter over a one-year time period.

Signs are installed recognizing adopters at their section of road.
