Police in Halifax are asking the public for help as they investigate a shooting in North Preston, N.S. The RCMP Halifax Regional Detachment responded to a report of shots fired near Amos Walter Drive and Downey Drive around 4 p.m. on Saturday. When officers arrived on scene they found shell casings on the road. “There were no reports of injuries and no obvious property damage,” reads a news release from the RCMP. The investigation is ongoing. Police are asking anyone with information about the incident, who hasn’t already spoken to police, to call 902-490-5020 or Nova Scotia Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
