Deadmau5

Grammy-nominated D.J. Joel Zimmerman, more commonly known as Deadmau5, is one of the highest paid electronic music producers in the world. The masked music artist is gearing up for his show at The Colusseum on Friday night. His show is expected to include mesmerizing lighting effects and a mastery of sound. The Niagara Falls-born DJ won the Juno award for Dance Recording of the Year for four consecutive years from 2008 to 2011. There are still tickets available.

LaSalle Craft Beer Fest

The Canadian Xsports will be rocking the tent at the LaSalle Craft Beer Fest. They'll be joined by several other live performers.. and of course beer. The theme is "Cheers to 150" honouring Canada's birthday. New this year is the 1.5K Beer Run, walk or crawl. The festival runs Friday and Saturday at the Vollmer Complex in LaSalle.

 Oktoberfest

It's time to raise a glass for Windsor's Oktoberfest. The six-day event will feature a traditional keg tapping, live bands, dancing, games, prizes, food and drinks. Organizers say it's your chance enjoy the same beer that is served at the Munich Oktoberfes -- the Paulaner fest beer. Doors open at 6 p.m. at the Heimat Windsor Banquet Centre, starting Thursday night. Advance tickets are available online for $7 or get a 10-pack for $60.

Tommy Youngstein Performs Bruce Springsteen

A little something for Bruce Springsteen fans. Tommy Youngstein is performing a tribute to "The Boss" at the Capitol Theatre Friday night. It features members & alumni from The Sam Roberts Band, The Arkells, The Trews, Stars & The Serena Ryder Band. Tickets are $35. Showtime is 8 p.m.
