The Pollinate Kingsville Committee is looking for volunteers to help plant trees at York Park. It is part of the first stage of a forest planting project. Volunteers are asked to help plant 1,500 trees in an effort to enhance the town’s green spaces and support healthy pollinator habits. You are welcome to volunteer for as little or as long as you’d like. All volunteers are asked to bring garden gloves and a shovel. This is also an opportunity for high school students looking for volunteer hours. You are able to help out on Sept. 18 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. or on Sept. 19 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Registration is available on Kingsville’s website.
