The H2Oasis Aquatic Centre at LaSalle’s Vollmer Centre will close for its annual maintenance shutdown from September 7 to October 2. The closure includes the indoor pool, sauna and spa while staff complete equipment servicing, pool liner inspections, cleaning and tile repairs. The facility is scheduled to reopen October 3. To help keep aquatic programs available, LaSalle’s outdoor pool at Front Road and Laurier Drive will remain open through October 2, weather permitting. Free recreational swims will continue on Saturdays throughout September, while adult length swims and aqua fitness classes will run weekdays until the end of the month.
