The Windsor Police Service has laid sexual assault and forcible confinement charges in connection to a recent investigation. On Sunday, police were called with a report of a sexual assault at a house in the 1200 block of Harrison Avenue. Officers said the suspect and victim initially connected through social media and arranged to meet in person. The suspect allegedly drove the victim to a home, where the victim was reportedly sexually assaulted and stopped from leaving. Just after 4 p.m. on Sept. 9, the suspect turned himself in. A 29-year-old has been charged with sexual assault and forcible confinement.
