OPP investigate assault in Grand Bend, seek public assistance

OPP officers are investigating an aggravated assault in Grand Bend and are asking for the public’s help in identifying those responsible.

On Sunday at about 2:28 a.m., members of the Lambton County OPP and Lambton County EMS responded to a disturbance on Main Street between Harvey Avenue and Donaldson Street.

Police say one male was taken to the South Huron Hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries but has since been released.

The Lambton County Crime Unit is continuing the investigation and is requesting businesses or the residents in the area to check their Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) surveillance footage for any evidence at the time of the incident.

Any witnesses who may of captured the incident on their phone or anyone with further information regarding this investigation is asked to contact Lambton OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
