The Special Investigations Unit (SIU) has found Windsor police clear of any wrongdoing in the fatal shooting of a man. The investigation was in relation to a downtown shooting on Sept. 6 at The Beer Store on Goyeau Street. The man was pronounced dead in hospital. Joseph Martino, director of the SIU, said there were no reasonable grounds to believe two Windsor Police Service officers committed a criminal offense in the 57-year-old man’s death.
