No name store closing in LaSalle

The no name grocery store is closing in LaSalle, according to a statement from its parent company Loblaw.

The store opened on Sept. 5, 2024 at Windsor Crossing Premium Outlet Mall.

In a statement to CTV News, Loblaw said the Windsor location will close on Oct. 25.

“We’ve recently made the difficult decision to close our no name store in Windsor. While we saw a strong initial response, the location hasn’t built the customer base needed to remain sustainable long-term. The store’s final day of operation will be October 25, as we prepare for the nearby No Frills opening on October 30. We are excited to show the community the exceptional value and product selection at the new store.”

It was one of three pilot stores.
