Long stretch of hot and humid weather begins this week

While no weather alert has been issued yet, “a prolonged period of very hot conditions is expected,” according to Environment Canada.

They forecast temperatures will linger in the mid 30s for much of this week.

Today, we’ll see a mix of sun and cloud. Our high will reach 29 degrees, but it’ll feel more like 35 with the Humidex.

Partly cloudy skies expected this evening, but clearing overnight with a low of 18 degrees.

Monday starts a long stretch of very sunny days with a high of 32 degrees, feeling like 42.

The next opportunity for any showers will be Friday. However, there’s only a 30 per cent chance.
