A man is in hospital fighting for his life after a reported altercation and “possible stabbing” in Brampton. Peel Regional Police say their officers responded to the area of Yately Street and Clockwork Drive at around 10 p.m. Police said there was a large police presence in the area and asked residents to avoid the scene. Paramedics tell CP24 they later transported an adult male to a local trauma centre with life-threatening injuries. The investigation is ongoing. It is unclear what led up to the altercation.
