The OPP are offering back to school safety reminders as school is set to begin on Tuesday. Officers are reminding drivers, parents, and students to prioritize safety on the roads and in school zones. Driver reminders: Parents and student reminders: “As students head back to school, safety in our communities is a shared responsibility,” said Supt. Mark Loucas with Essex OPP. “Drivers must stay alert, patient, and show courtesy around school zones. With increased foot traffic and school buses on the road, let’s work together and make the start of the school year both fun and safe for everyone.”
