The Lancers Football team has advanced and is one game away from a shot at the provincial title.

The University of Windsor Lancers football team has advanced and is one game away from playing for the provincial title.

Windsor took care of business against Ottawa to advance to the OUA semifinal.

Thanks to Western, Windsor is now hosting the game for the first time since 1990, instead of travelling down the 401.

“Having Guelph win was a big relief for us. Playing at home in front of this crowd it’s unbelievable. It’s been unbelievable all year. First time since 1990. It’s gonna be an unbelievable atmosphere here. Looking forward to it,” said Lancers quarterback Nick Dimovski.
