The thrill-seeking attraction that turns Rogers Place into a dirt-packed track is full-throttle in advance of its return to the city in August. Preferred customer tickets are already on sale for Monster Jam, the oversized truck competition coming to Edmonton Aug. 29 and 30 this year. General public tickets go on sale Tuesday. Some of the world’s best drivers of the 12,000-pound machines will take to the stadium to battle for the championships in three events – racing, 2-wheel skills and freestyle. Also back this year is the pre-show pit party and trackside event, where drivers will sign autographs, take pictures and attendees will be able to see the trucks up close.
