Lakeshore seeking feedback to direct revitalization of Belle River skate park

The Municipality of Lakeshore is seeking public feedback to help direct the future of Belle River Optimist Park’s skate park, as well as other skate friendly infrastructure planned for the community.

They are conducting an online survey from now until May 16, which hopes to gather feedback on how the infrastructure is being used currently, as well as direct future investment.

“Feedback from users is incredibly valuable. It helps to ensure the investments and improvements we make reflect the experience and desires of those who use these amenities every day,” said Mayor Tracey Bailey.

Feedback will help direct the $300,000 approved by council to renovate the existing skate park in Belle River, updates will include a skate-friendly textured concrete pad, a designated sitting area for both users and spectators, and enhancements to the skate park’s features.
