Investigation underway after fire in Leamington

An investigation is underway after a fire broke out in Leamington early Saturday.

Fire crews battled the blaze on Victoria Street in Leamington and streets in the area were closed.

They were called to the scene around 3 a.m. and were able to extinguish the blaze.

The house was abandoned and there is no word yet on the cause.

Damage is extensive.
