Chatham-Kent staff to report back on former school site for fire station proposal

Chatham-Kent council is seeking more information before deciding whether to relocate a fire station.

Councillors voted 16-3 to have staff report back on a proposal to build the station at the former St. Ursula School site.

A report expected in September will include a preliminary design. Public consultation is also planned.
