A man is facing charges after allegedly committing assaults, collisions, and fleeing from police. Just after 4 a.m. on Sunday, police were called with a disturbance report at a home in the 6600 block of Baseline Road. Officers said that two men got into an argument, leading to an assault. When a woman intervened, she was also allegedly assaulted. Both victims sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect reportedly got into a vehicle and drove away, despite not being allowed to drive under court orders. When he left, the vehicle allegedly hit a parked car in the driveway, then the front door of the house. Structural damage was done to the house. The suspect then fled the area, police said. The suspect and vehicle were found nearby, and an officer tried to pill it over. The Windsor Police Service reported the driver refused to stop and sped away. Later on, the vehicle was found abandoned on 9th Concession Road near County Road 17. Upon further investigation, the suspect was found hiding in an attic space at a home in the city. The 32-year-old man is now facing the following charges:
