This year’s PNE Prize Home includes a legal basement suite

Take a look inside the 2025 PNE Prize Home in Langley, one of the most coveted buildings in the province estimated at $2.5-million.

The latest PNE Prize Home remains luxurious in many ways, but continues the shift away from a traditional layout to a more practical design for a modern Metro Vancouver family.

For example, there is a two-bedroom suite in the basement for a multi-generational family.

“Or for an income helper,” said PNE spokesperson Laura Ballance. “Folks buying tickets have told us they appreciate the option of a suite.”

Built by Miracon Development and designed by Brown & Co., the five-bedroom Langley home includes an open-concept main floor, a split staircase leading to the second storey, and several work-from-home spaces.

Other differences include the main area, which replaces the typical living room found in many houses a cozy library, and there is a whiskey room that doubles as a media centre.

The home is valued at more than $2.5 million and is fully furnished by Yaletown Interiors.

Landscaping equipment and yard care tools are also included.

Tickets for the 3,293-square-foot 91st Prize Home are now on sale.
