Despite the 2026 CFL season being well underway, fans of the Saskatchewan Roughriders were given a little glimpse of last year’s glory. With the Green and White’s win at the 2025 Grey Cup, season ticketholders were given commemorative Grey Cup rings to celebrate the 5th championship in franchise history. This is the second time that the Riders have given out commemorative championship rings to their fans, with the last one being after the 2013 Grey Cup win. “This [one] is totally different than the other one. This one is more detailed; this is a nicer ring.” said one 40-year season ticket holder. “[It’s] certainly a lot more detailed; it’s got a really good keepsake, I think.” said another fan, who’s held season tickets for 47 years. “This is something that’s very important to us because this is a reward and an inclusion to our season ticket members,” said Jacqueline Hurlbert, director of marketing and fan engagement for the club. “We feel like it’s so important to make them feel like one team. That’s something that Corey Mace always says is that ‘We’re one team, and we aren’t a team without Rider Nation.’ To have our season ticket members receive that commemorative ring, it’s something special that we get to give them this year.” According to Hurlbert, around 15,000 rings were made for the fans who hold season tickets. The rings were manufactured by Baron Championship Rings.
