3-vehicle collision in East Gwillimbury causes traffic delays

A three-vehicle collision in East Gwillimbury late Saturday morning caused “significant traffic delays,” York Regional Police said.

Emergency crews were called to the northbound lanes between Bathurst Street and Canal Road at around 11:30 a.m.

Paramedics are on scene assisting with “non-life-threatening” injuries.

The cause of the collision is unknown.

The northbound lanes of Highway 11 at Bathurst Street were closed for several hours but have since reopened.
