Peel police are looking for a man who allegedly approached a child walking home in Brampton on Wednesday afternoon and had a brief physical interaction. Police said the child was walking in the area of Flamingo Crescent and Forsythia Road between 3:30 p.m. and 3:55 p.m. when a man approached from behind. The child was able to “disengage” from the brief interaction and left, police said. The child was not physically injured. Police said the man was last seen walking east on Forsythia Road toward Folkstone Crescent. He is believed to be South Asian, 25 to 30 years old, six feet tall with a slim build, and has straight medium-length black hair that touches his ears. Police said the man was last seen wearing a black cloth face mask, a white T-shirt, and long brown pants. They are asking anyone with information to contact them or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
