Man in his 30s seriously injured in North York stabbing

A man is in the hospital following a stabbing at an apartment building in North York early Saturday morning.

Toronto police say they were called to the area of Jane Street and Chalkfarm Drive, just north of Wilson Avenue, at around 8:20 a.m.

Police say officers located a man in his 30s with stab wounds.

The victim was transported to the hospital with “serious, non-life-threatening” injuries, according to paramedics.

Police are also describing his injuries as serious but non-life-threatening.

There is no word on any suspects at this time.

The investigation is ongoing.
