Arrest warrant issued for 'armed and dangerous' Mississauga man

Police have issued an arrest warrant for an "armed and dangerous" Mississauga man after several shots were fired at a parked vehicle that had two people inside.

The two female victims were not injured, police said. It's unclear what their relationship is with the suspect.

Police said the shooting happened in the area of Hurontario Street and Eglinton Avenue at approximately 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Police said the suspect fled the scene.

Steven John Northeim, 28, is wanted for a number of alleged offences including three counts of attempted murder, unauthorized possession of a firearm, and breach of probation.

He is described as white, 6'0" tall and is 160 lbs. Police say he has a medium build, short brown hair, a full beard and brown eyes. He also has a number of tattoos including one of a heart and dollar sign on his left hand and another on his right shoulder that says "WWJD."

In a statement released on Friday, police described Northeim as "armed and dangerous."
