A rollover on a major Calgary thoroughfare Monday afternoon ground traffic to a halt. Calgary police responded to a crash involving a commercial vehicle at the intersection of Bow Trail and 26 Street S.W. just before 3:30 p.m. Images from the scene show a dump truck on its side with wooden debris scattered across the roadway. Police say no injuries were reported. The intersection is reduced to one westbound lane and 26 Street S.W. is closed between Bow Trail and Sovereign Crescent. Police say traffic will be impacted and urge the public to avoid the area.
