2 injured after vehicle flips over during North York collision

Two people were rushed to the hospital following a collision in North York late Tuesday afternoon.

The crash happened near Steeles Avenue West and Jane Street.

Toronto police said they were called to that area just after 5:30 p.m. for reports of a two-vehicle collision, where one vehicle had flipped over.

They said the occupants were trapped inside the vehicle. They have since been removed and are being transported to the hospital via emergency run, they said.

The extent of their injuries is not yet known.

Police are advising drivers to expect delays in the area and asking them to use alternate routes.

Currently, Murray Ross Parkway is closed.
