Unclaimed $2.5M ticket sold in Saskatchewan

Someone in Saskatchewan is waking up $2.5 million richer after winning Wednesday night’s LOTTO 6/49 Classic draw.

The Western Canada Lottery Corporation is asking those who purchased on March 4 to check their tickets after the prize went unclaimed as of Thursday.

The winning numbers were 2, 18, 30, 39, 40 and 44, and the jackpot will only be awarded to an exact match.

The winner has one year to claim the prize and can start the process by contacting Player Care at 1‑800‑665‑3313.
